Wine critics reviewsReviews by Parker and Jancis Robinson

The 2019 Godina reveals aromas of ripe berries and generous creamy oak. It was bottled at 16% alcohol and has a decadent palate with tons of ripe fruit, fine tannins and pungent flavors. Despite the ripeness, it keeps the balance. 28,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2021.

Tasted blind. Impressive concentration, power and boldness. It shows dark chocolate, toast, baked black fruit and fleshy prunes. It is very extreme in terms of extraction and ripeness but achieves a superb, rich, black-fruit character. On the palate, it is creamy and concentrated with flashy (but top-quality) oak flavours. It has an impressive weight but is not overcharged. What powerful sweet fruit. It reminds me of a top New World wine. Am I tasting Barossa?
