The wine
Although we had to wait 18 years, the birth of Saint-Véran in 1971 was a logical event. It was the consecration of a wine that has always stood out very clearly from other white wines from the Mâconnais. This cuvée of a brilliant pale yellow on approach, shows a very elegant nose. It is only by mouth that we fully measure its dimension. After a mineral and tonic attack, it asserts itself with an imposing fat structure and perfect balance. Its finish of a beautiful intensity offers floral aromas. A racy and distinctive wine that can be kept for three or four years in the cellar.
