Winemaking
Lézer is an experimental wine for Foradori, Lezér. It came about by accident in 2017 when a frost destroyed 40% of the harvest and Foradori took the opportunity to experiment with different containers and winemaking processes for bunches which could be made use of. The end result was a joyful, lively wine, with a noticeable character of the vintage year and the land. It was so convincing that they carried on making it, and still do today, based on that experimental idea, where the characteristics of each harvest decide the most suitable type of process and container, and also the proportion of stalks to include, with macerations always lasting less than 24 hours: earthenware amphorae, oak and concrete containers.

Vineyards
Elisabetta Foradori’s vineyards come under the Demeter biodynamic certification guarantee, but the wine-making focus of this producer goes further and can be better explained by referring to the Triple A movement: defined as being agriculturist, artisan and artist, a definite commitment to indigenous varieties and working the vineyards naturally, without impairing the raw material nor the final product in the winery, and having the creative ability to convey the essence of the land in the wine.
