The wine

Fontanasanta Manzoni Bianco is one of Elisabetta Foradori's great whites. Known as the "lady of Teroldego", Elisabetta is one of the leading exponents of biodynamics in Italy and of wine maturation in amphora. Manzoni Bianco is a cross of Riesling and Pinot Blanc that produces fresh, mineral and elegant wines of excellent structure which are highly satisfying. Elisabetta's expertise in her spectacular vineyards in Trentino gives this variety unique personality and longevity, stunning verticality and character.

What does this wine taste like?

Fontanasanta is a traditional and inviting wine, deep straw yellow in colour. The bouquet has pronounced intense aromas of peach, pear, spices, flowers, honey and caramel, with the addition of a clear mineral trace. On the palate it opens with great structure and amazing balance. The mineral profile and remarkable acidic backbone counterbalance the soft and juicy components

Joining the Winery founded in 1939 by her grandfather, at nineteen years of age, Elisabetta Foradori is the recognized Lady of Teroldego, the guardian of her territory. She herself, defined herself as such in an excellent interview with the Italian newspaper "La Repubblica", outlining her own story as a winemaker, oenologist, businesswoman and communicator of the territory in which she lives in symbiosis: the magical Piana Rotaliana that produces, thanks to the mineral-rich...
