Finca Moncloa

Full bodied with rich fruit balanced with oak

I first encountered the 2011 vintage in a restaurant in Sevilla when it was recommended instead of Rioja crianza. It comes from Cadiz province, not a big exporter to the UK but it's well priced and a worthy alternative to wines from further north.

Consistently good

I was recommended this in a restaurant in Sevilla, as an alternative to Rioja crianza, in 2012 and have been buying a few bottles each year since. A lovely full bodied wine which develops in the glass.

Great allrounder

Had this in a good restaurant in Carmona and tracked it down here, a great all round wine for drinking with meals and on its own

Amazing value

Got served this in a Madrid restaurant and enjoyed it so much I photographed the bottle and used it online so I could order more
