Ferraton La Tournée Rouge is made on clay and calcareous hillsides in Herault and Gard area, in the south of France. The grape varieties are vinified separately in stainless steel or concrete vats. Fermentation is followed by a short maceration of rougjly 10 days at low controlled temperature to favour fresh fruits aromas. Gentle extraction by pumping over. The two grapes varieties are blended and aged on fine lees in neutral content to bring complexity to the wine.
Colour red, dense, clear with deep purple glints. Nose powerful, complex, spicy and red berries notes. Taste powerful, structured attack with a tinge of skilly tannins. Red fruit aromas.
