The wine
The Maremma Toscana of Fattoria dei Barbi is a red wine blend between Sangiovese and Merlot; the glass shows a beautiful intense purple red color. On the nose, the perfume is penetrating with marked notes of ripe red fruit, plum, blueberries, cherry. Light sweet notes of pastry and spices. The sip is soft, enveloping with a pulpy and balanced center of the mouth. Sweet finish with ripe cherry aftertaste. It is an all-meal wine that goes well with any dish.

Fattoria dei Barbi
Fattoria dei Barbi is truly one of the great wineries of Montalcino, and also the company which has produced Brunello wine continuously for the longest time. Brunello is a single-variety Sangiovese wine first created by the Biondi-Santi family in the late 19th century.
