The wine
This wine shows a characteristic light garnet red color. The perfume expresses fascinating notes of strawberry, raspberry and cherry; there are also hints of exotic woods such as sandalwood and officinal herbs. On the palate it is well balanced by a certain acidity, enveloping and of great persistence. To combine with roasts, game and aged cheeses.

Fattoria dei Barbi
Fattoria dei Barbi is truly one of the great wineries of Montalcino, and also the company which has produced Brunello wine continuously for the longest time. Brunello is a single-variety Sangiovese wine first created by the Biondi-Santi family in the late 19th century.
