The wine
For their top of the range product, the winery has settled upon the Graciano grape, content that a pure expression of this variety has been obtained that shows great complexity and aromatic freshness. A manual grape harvest into 12-kilo crates and individual berries destalked by hand pave the way for the end result, a refined and elegant wine.
Dark violet in colour, this wine reveals aromas of ripe black fruits on the nose, complemented by hints of vanilla, roast coffee, spices and pepper. On the palate, cherry and cassis come through clearly, along with spicy notes. It concludes with a lengthy and firm finish.
Fermented in oak vats. Aged for 18 months in new French oak barrels.
