The wine
It was Luigi Einaudi who bought it in 1897, fifty years before being called to lead the Italian Republic, the San Giacomo farm in Dogliani and to start bottling. Despite the political commitments, President Einaudi never missed a harvest, infecting his heirs with his passion and his example.
Barbera, softened by the passage in wood, has a feminine and seductive character; it is deep and expressive in the notes of black berries, flowers and spices; at 'tasting it gives sensations of freshness and juiciness as well as a good softness.
