The wine
A powerful, clean and lively white made from 100% Verdejo that comes from a rigorous selection in the vineyards which lie within the Rueda DO, specifically at Montuenga and Codorniz, in the province of Segovia, vineyards which were chosen because of their special microclimate and the suitability of their soils.
On the nose, Nogara is a Verdejo revealing intense fruit (apricot, peach) and herbal (mint and broom) aromas, and other delicate hints of apple peel, exotic fruits and a slightly citrusy finish. There's a glycerin feel on the palate, it's rounded and has the Verdejo variety's subtle bitterness, with a mild acidity and a luscious finish.
