Domenico Clerico Ciabot Mentin is a powerful Barolo, very dark in the garnet color. It flaunts integrity and thickness from the very first approach. It has an important and ethereal nose, very intense, crunchy in the fruity and spicy hints, reminiscent of fruit in alcohol, blueberry, undergrowth, blackberry cherry and cocoa. The taste gives the best of itself, showing itself powerful, solid, the tough but mature tannic mass. The closure is invigorating. Excellent in combination with red meats, cheeses and game. The most demanding palates will be able to appreciate it on oven-baked hare with juniper sauce. Also perfect with traditional Piedmontese dishes, such as braised "al Barolese", Piedmontese agnolotti or truffle tajarin.

A stunner!
Why? Because of its depth, the wide-angle palate and the notes of smoke, licorice, dry soil and the incredible amount of vivid dark fruit.
