The wine
Tenores is a single varietal Cannonau originating from vineyards that are almost a hundred years old. On the nose it offers a coherent bouquet with a succession of sweet notes (ripe red and black fruits), masculine notes (leather and tobacco), and gentle hints of dried tomato, orange peel and spices; all pinned on an ever-present background of Mediterranean scrubland. On the palate it shows plenty of body and power, with an amazing balance between its alcohol potency and its freshness. An elegant and profound wine that has personality, a genuine example of the delightful qualities the Cannonau variety is capable of giving us.
