The wine
Cusumano Sàgana Magnum is an intense and elegant wine, of a beautiful dark ruby red. The nose reveals a fragrant and intriguing bouquet of cloves, dried violet, notes of licorice and dark tobacco. On the palate it shows great thickness and softness, supported by an excellent freshness: a sip that accompanies in a long gustatory embrace, underlined by the successful fusion of the various components and a seductive tannin. Excellent on buckwheat rags with hare ragout, pappardelle with wild boar sauce, stewed pheasant, leg of mutton on a spit, with well-aged cheeses. Taste underlined by the successful fusion of the various components and a seductive tannin.
