The wine
This classic Piedmontese white is obtained from Cortese grapes, one of the oldest native vines of Piedmont, so called because it is intended for the production of wines for the Corte. The Gavi La Rocca was born from a soil consisting of limestone marl which gives it an unexpected mineral complexity. The glass has a bright straw yellow color; the nose is fresh and fruity, with mineral notes in evidence. The sip is savory and with the right citrine vein. Perfect in combination with oysters, Ligurian rabbit, bagna cauda. In general with fish dishes.
