The wine
Lagrein is a native vine of Alto Adige; it has a dark garnet red with violet reflections. The nose reveals notes of violet, cinnamon and slight hints of vanilla; the sip shows a marked acidity and aromas of berries and black cherry enrich the taste. Perfect as an accompaniment to South Tyrolean cuisine. Excellent with roasted or grilled beef, lamb, game and cheeses.
