The wine

When you taste this wine, you'll be amazed by its huge array of nuances and sensations. It's a meaty, pleasant wine, sometimes penetratingly deep, at others luscious, feminine and seductive, at times majestic and truly resembling a wine to cellar... It's hard to describe and best defined by its label: a jazz musician. Like jazz music, Jaspi Maragda is a wine to take at a slow pace, enjoying its changes of rhythm, always nicely in harmony.

In Jaspi Maragda we find the joyfulness and succulence of the Garnacha, with a subtle caramel touch, the restraint of the Cariñena, always so elegant, and the roundness and consistency of the Syrah. A wine rich in acidic red and black fruits such as pomegranates and black cherries, warm bakery and earthy notes and hints of chocolate and tobacco, with a velvety feel, smooth and fresh.

NOTE: Despite its easy-going nature, this wine has been conceived as one to lay down, which is why decanting is recommended especially during its early years.

They began in 2006 to make their own singular wines, in a modern style, produced using a selection of grapes from various vineyards with differing mineral composition, therefore wines which combine the minerality of the terroir with the essence of varieties such as Garnacha, Cariñena and Syrah. Vine cultivation is ecological...
