Produced using their old Grenache and Syrah vines in the magnificent terroir of Rasteau, this Château de la Gardine wine is fruity, spicy and agile, a delightful delicacy which can stand alongside its more famous siblings from Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

What does this wine taste like?
It is a wine with a good level of intensity and aromatic complexity where fruity notes of blackcurrants, plums and cranberries meet hints of spices and liquorice. It has a generous body with firm and elegant tannins.

Winemaking
Grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected before undergoing a malolactic and alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The finished wine is aged using a combination of concrete and stainless steel deposits.
