The wine
Liante, Vento di Levante, is an Apulian wine made from two native grapes, Negroamaro (80%) and Malvasia Nera (20%) harvested and vinified separately.
This warm and fleshy Apulian red is proudly expressing the character of its land. In the glass it has a very dense ruby red color, typical of the Negroamaro grape (Negroamaro, contrary to what one might think it means black black) while on the nose it offers penetrating and sweet aromas of fruit jam, dried plums and chocolate without neglecting romantic floral hints of roses and violets. On the palate it is silky, medium-bodied, balanced and tasty with red and black berried fruits and vanilla; closes on an intriguing almond note.
