The wine
Born in 1974 from a selection of Sangiovese, it is among the first wines that successfully deal with Sangiovese in purity. It grows on a typical Cretaceous soil, rich in galestro, called the Scanni vineyard and located at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level, with a south-west exposure. This wine is vinified in steel. After aging for about 18 months in French 5hl barrels, it remains in the bottle for one year for aging.
