The wine
Muffato della Sala is produced with botrytized grapes harvested in late October / early November, to allow the morning mists to favor the development of Botrytis Cinerea or noble rot on the bunches. This mold reduces the water content of the grapes and concentrates sugars and aromas, giving the Muffato della Sala a harmonious and unmistakable taste. With a golden yellow color, it is a wine of great aromatic and gustatory intensity, characterized by floral and honey aromas followed by fresh, almost citrus notes with brackish nuances. It is balanced even in its youth and is destined to evolve over time and increase its complexity.
