The wine
The Piedmontese Bonarda, which Cascina Gilli vinifies dry but with a slight liveliness due to the presence of fermentation carbon dioxide, is characterized by its delicate aroma, with spicy, evanescent but well perceptible notes. The slight vivacity makes Bonarda even more pleasant on the palate, accentuating its freshness without diminishing its complexity. Served fresh from the cellar, it is superb with braised or stewed meats or with a traditional Piedmontese fried.
Drinking and storing
Serve between 16ºC and 18ºC
