The wine
Perhaps the greatest indigenous red from Oltrepò currently on the market, Cavariola, from octogenarian vines that make up the company grand cru, reveals a beautiful intense and brilliant ruby red tending to garnet in the glass. The nose is very broad, complex, with clear hints of spices, from cinnamon to nutmeg, and with a base of undergrowth. Dry, rich in structure, it has a wide sip on noble and well-balanced tannins, which become velvety and aristocratic with age.
