The wine
Briego is a fine representative of Ribera del Duero wine which, being young and excellently made, fills the glass with raspberries, cherries and strawberries as well as delivering hints of cinnamon, vanilla and spices. Just one sip of Briego is enough to feel an explosion of fruit in the mouth and to appreciate the elegance of the Tinta Fina grape, so characteristic of the Ribera del Duero.
Bodegas Briego have taken it upon themselves to stand up for the genuine nature of their regional wines whilst always ready to adopt modern ideas. The wine spends from 5 to 7 months in American oak barrels.
