Braó

Profound, complex ... and excellent value for money

Braó is a big, bold, sophisticated and complex wine. It has a wonderful intensity of fruit, minerality and huge range of flavours, combined with a lovely texture in the mouth. It works wonderfully well with all sorts of red meat dishes. I am sure it will keep well and develop for many years in the cellar, but it is already delicious (and so my bottles will be gone before I can put that guess on ageing potential to the test). Like other wines from Acústic Celler, Braó has been very carefully prepared. It is the step up from the eponymous Acústic, which you can taste, and one below the Auditori. The experience of drinking this wine from Montsant is on par with many much more famous wines from Priorat that cost two or three times as much -- great value!
