Spec sheet
The wine
In years where the climate allows it, the best grapes of our three most important Crus are selected: Cannubi, Liste and Fossati. Spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks at relatively low temperatures followed by a submerged cap maceration which, in some cases, can even reach 50 days. Aging in large Slavonian oak barrels for six years followed by six months of aging in the bottle before being released on the market.
Borgogno is one of the most historic Barolos, with a classic and natural style. These precious bottles could have very light sediments, decanting is possible if desired, but only a few minutes before serving.
