The wine
Berlucchi '61 Brut Satèn captivates the gaze with its unmistakable soft and creamy foam. The perlage is subtle, continuous; its color, intense straw yellow. The nose is surprisingly variegated, it gives hints of ripe yellow tropical fruit which, in progression, concentrate up to evolve into notes of candied citrus. On the palate it reveals acid, savory and with a pleasantly harmonious structure, a rare pleasantness that ends with a long and precise finish. Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with delicate risotto and fish dishes. Try it with Sauris, Parma or San Daniele raw ham and with not too seasoned cheeses.
