The wine
A structured red, abundantly full of wild black fruit, blue flower petals and liquorice. It exudes a striking sensation of mineral purity and adorns the palate with rounded and enveloping tannins. It leaves behind a lingering impression of the skins of black plums which proves quite unforgettable.

Château de Beaucastel
In the year 1321, in the time of Pope John XXII, four casks from the papal cellar arrived in Châteauneuf to be filled with wine; that was how the story started of "du-Pape" wine.
