The wine
It is at the intensity of its spicy aromas that we must look, if we want to reveal the mystery of its name: Syraco, in fact, is a tribute to the warm south-east wind of the ancient city of Syracuse. Its Syrah grapes are born from the gentle slopes of the Baroni estate in Noto; vinified alone, they are velvety and persistent in the glass. It is an intense and impenetrable Sicilian red wine, with a rich and enveloping bouquet and with tannins of extraordinary elegance. For an aperitif, try with a few touches of Sicilian Pecorino, and then accompany it with a braised black pig. In general, it goes well with red meat, roasted or grilled, as well as with game, especially venison or wild boar.
