The wine
The Aura Avutarda is a parcel selection of the estate from which its name is derived. It's the first barrel-fermented Verdejo from Bodegas Aura, a fine white wine that combines all the varietal's character with the complexity and refinement only the barrel can bring.
This is a golden wine with greenish glints, a fragrant nose and luscious palate. In addition to the usual tropical and herbaceous notes of good Verdejos there are subtle toasty and delicate vanilla hints. Fresh on the palate, rather creamy and very persistent, it will please lovers of very expressive and elegant Castilian whites.
