The wine
Arizcuren Solomazuelo Tinaja is the result of a very didactic work by Javier Arizcuren to publicize the characteristics of the mazuelo that historically has been part of the great Rioja wines and put it in value within the DOQ Rioja.
The production process follows the principle of minimum intervention, trying to respect the variety and the place of origin. For this reason, exogenous products are not used (except for a minimum amount of sulphurous) and traditional aging in wood is replaced by a 250-liter earthenware jar and for 5 months that allows the essence of the variety to be kept intact.
