The wine
The genuine essence of Garnacha: a 100% “mountain” Garnacha, concentrated, intense, produced using grapes from old vines ranging from 40 to 65 years old, and brought to us care of the prestigious Australian oenologist Chris Ringland.
A dark cherry colour, this wine is complex and intense on the nose, displaying preserved fruit aromas and toasty, mineral and roasted nuances (coffee, toffee). Powerful, full-bodied and meaty on the palate, it comes over as fresh and lively, with a superb concentration of flavour, excellent balance and sweet, enveloping tannins.
Aged for 18 months in oak barrels.
