The wine
Characteristic dry Aleatico from 100% volcanic lapillus soils from the Gradoli area, Alea Viva is a perfectly summery red, with notes of pepper, mulberry, cherry and fragrant minerals. Macerates on the skins for two weeks and ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts only in small concrete barrels, without the use of chemical additives and oenological adjuvants, with the exception of a modest quantity of sulphites in the bottling phase.
