The wine
This is a fully-rounded and expressive wine which is ideal as an initiation into discovering the finer qualities of the Syrah variety.
A dark cherry colour with garnet on the rim and extremely dense, the wine has an intense nose, revealing aromas of ripe fruit with floral notes (violets), as well as balsamic and mineral hints. Flavoursome, fresh, fruit-forward and elegant on the palate, it shows good persistence.
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
