The wine
Of the just 13,000 bottles produced each year, a small part is reserved for this sensational Ripasso, which as a true small Amarone (on whose skins it re-ferments) stays between two and three years in casks. The characteristic limestone and mineral soils give it an intense bouquet of ripe fruit and berries and a great texture on the palate: spicy, full-bodied, with hints of tobacco and an infinite persistence.
