The wine
Intense ruby red color, the nose expresses the characteristics of the terroir of the Montefalco area. A mix of balsamic tones and fruity notes, ranging from cherries to currant, passing through blackberry and plum. Fresh palate with balanced tannins. The flavor further enlivens the taste, albeit already fruity and balsamic. The wine is aged in large oak barrels for at least 12 months before bottling. We recommend matching with particularly tasty dishes and aged cheeses.
