The wine

Cabernet Franc and Tempranillo are used for the Abadal range's young red, allowed a short spell in barrel: smooth, aromatic, with singular aromas from the short ageing.

A dark garnet colour and dense, the wine releases aromas of ripe red berries (raspberries and redcurrants) on a background of toffee and apricot. It is fresh and powerful on the palate with a lingering finish, during which the fruity notes reappear, along with mineral hints typical of the Cabernet Franc grape, on a satiny, oak-nuanced background.

NOTE: It is advisable to open the bottle about 15 minutes before serving.

Aged for 4 months in French oak barrels and subsequently in bottle.

The Bages region is...
