The wine
Adosmanos is a fresh and wild wine expressing the authentic and genuine side to Méntrida. A delightful minerality seems to try to combine the character of a Gredos wine with the clear personality of a Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Adosmanos is the result of the firm commitment of two friends to recovering an exceptional vineyard whose vines are repaying them by producing wines with intense minerality and a unique depth.
What does this wine taste like?
The aromas of ripe berries, both red and black, appear alongside aromatic spices. A herbal hint reminds us of the forest but its fruitiness stands out more clearly in the nose thanks, in good measure, to a restrained use of wood.
An elegant and smooth first sip with a medium body in the mouth and fine tannins. It displays a good level of freshness and a notable energy. The character of the terroir is felt in saline sensations, a wild acidity, and a lively palate. Its mouthfeel is reminiscent of the grainy texture of granite and it has a deliciously flavoursome finish embellished with suggestive bitter touches and the freshness of redcurrants.

Drinking and storing
It is ideally served in a Pinot Noir style glass at a temperature between 14ºC and 16ºC. It makes for pleasant drinking from day one but can also be enjoyed at any time in the 6 or 7 years after its harvest date.
Food pairing
Semi-hard sheep milk cheese or meats like duck make for great partners. It also pairs well with game birds.
