Yamazaki was the first Japanese whisky brand name to receive real recognition, the illustrious emblem of the Suntory House, Japan's oldest and foremost distillery. Yamazaki 12 Year Old constitutes a real classic in contemporary times, a single malt that's delicate and profound at the same time, elegant and intense, very much appreciated by the most expert of palates due to its complexity and richness.
Made using the purest natural ingredients and in a virtually hand-crafted fashion, Yamazaki 12 impresses with the intensity of its pure gold colour and its fragrance: peach, pineapple, grapefruit, notes of cloves, orange, vanilla, Japanese oak (Mizunara)... It's creamy on the tongue, with touches of coconut, blueberries and butter, and culminates in a long, sweet finish, highlighting ginger and cinnamon.

Le meilleur de Yamazaki financièrement accessible
Ayant eu la chance de déguster les whiskies Yamazaki à la distillerie Suntory près de Kyoto je suis tombé amoureux du 12 ans d'age plus fruité et subtile en bouche que les 18 et 21 ans (d'un prix encore très accessible au japon). Depuis je n'achète que le 12 ans. Seul problème son succès. Il part trop vite.
