Description
Highland Park, in the Orkney Islands, is the most northern distillery in Scotland. Apart from its location, what sets it apart is the flavour of its whiskies: aromas coming from an unusual blend of locally cut peat and ageing in oak casks which have been seasoned with Oloroso Sherry for two years.
This is their reference whisky and one of the best malt whiskies on the market in this price range. It is a complex, balanced whisky, with a perfect balance between smoky peat, sweet heather honey, and rich fruitcake. Its elegance and finesse will surprise you.
