DYC 15 is a new release from the Segovian whisky-makers DYC and the second whisky in their new DYC Maestros Destiladores collection (Master Distillers). This new range highlights the artisanal character of their whiskies. DYC 15 has been created to coincide with the 60th anniversary of the DYC brand in homage to its founder, Nicomedes García, the first person to make whisky in Spain.
DYC 15 is available in a limited edition of 12,857 bottles. Its quality is based on a careful selection of raw ingredients, its'single malt' character, and 15 years ageing, for the first time, with an exclusive finish in sherry casks which adds a complex variety of nuances. This blended whisky is produced with an excellent combination of ingredients grown and aged purely in Spain. Its intensity accompanied by warm aromas of sweet spices makes this a great whisky to drink straight.
DYC 15 recently received the Double Gold award in the prestigious international Sip Awards 2018.
