Bombino Bianco
A grape to rediscover. In itself, it is a generic trebbiano, in its Apulian version. It is mainly found towards the Gargano and the Barese area, with good results in the Castel del Monte area. Extremely productive, it expresses Mediterranean notes in these parts: light straw yellow, the bouquet is floral, quite fruity, while on the palate it is rather neutral and has good structure and an almond finish. It can benefit from a little maceration on the skins and also expresses itself well as sparkling or spumante wine.
