This is a brandy denoted as Jerez Solera Gran Reserva with all the finest attributes, a most distinguished brandy made from a careful selection of wines emanating from the Palomino and Airén grape varieties, young and fruity with top quality grapes. They were fermented at a low temperature and retained some lees in suspension at the time of its early distillation, then aged in American oak butts used for oloroso sherry according to the traditional solera system, whereby tiers of casks (criaderas) are arranged so that the upper rows feed their younger wines to the older wines stored below.
In appearance, it is a mahogany colour with golden hues. The nose is complex revealing vinous esters with balsamic notes originating from long ageing in wood. Mildly sweet on the palate, it is smooth and mellow, with touches of toast and vanilla nuances. It is also lengthy and extremely pleasant.

El "ducdalf" recommended for all the Dutch
This is my go-to Spanish brandy it is eminently drinkable, and I enjoy the fact that I am drinking the scourge of the Dutch rebels in the 80-year war, and that he is now safe in Dutch hands again (Bols Wessanen) ;- )

For the price, one of the best brandys I've ever drunk!!
A great after dinner brandy, but unfortunately not easily attainable in England.
If you can find a bottle, it is very expensive.Thanks to Vinissimus, it is very easy to get hold of and at a fair price.
I would recommend anybody who likes brandy to try this one.

Amazing brandy for the price
This is a hidden gem, amazing flavour, hints of caramel and not as harsh as other brandy's, very drinkable and worth trying.
